Who they are: Sachi is often introduced as Indra’s wife, but Book 6 gives her real agency. When Indra hides under the weight of his sin and Nahusha takes the throne, Sachi has to survive a ruler who wants to claim her. Her intelligence buys time until Indra can be restored.
