Who they are: Brahma is the creator-deity and a frequent teacher, but this Purana puts Brahma inside the Goddess’s system. Brahma creates, asks questions, receives help, and passes teachings on to Narada and others. His dependence is clearest when Brahma cannot wake Vishnu and must praise the Goddess of Sleep.
What they do that matters:
- Sings to Yoga Nidra so Vishnu can wake and fight Madhu and Kaitabha.
- Teaches Narada the chain of creation and the tattvas.
- Grants boons that often create the demon problems the Goddess later solves.
